The Waldinger Corporation seeks an experienced Mission Critical Project Executive to lead large-scale mission-critical construction projects in the Midwest. The role reports to the Special Projects Group and oversees project planning, commissioning, and closeout with emphasis on safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.

This leadership position requires 10+ years in project management with 5-7 years in mission-critical leadership, a related degree, relocation readiness, and willingness

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience, including 5-7 years of Mission-Critical based leadership in construction or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, building construction, business, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Availability to relocate to project after a brief training period
• Project will be a large-scale, mission-critical and located in the Midwest
• Travel will be required

Responsibilities

• Provides executive leadership for large-scale mission-critical construction projects from planning, construction, commissioning, and final closeout.
• Ensure project teams achieve safety, quality, financial, schedule, operational, and client satisfaction objectives.
• Aligns client and organizational priorities, removes barriers, develops project leaders, and promotes consistent practices for successful projects and lasting client relationships.
• Owns project outcomes and drives accountability across all aspects of assigned work.
• Contributes to development of processes, teams, and capabilities to support growth and operational success.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key client decision-makers and coaches project leaders in building strong client relationships.
• Oversees contract review, risk identification, and risk mitigation activities for assigned projects

Education

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, building construction, business, or related field
