Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an entry-level Project Engineer within the Advanced Facilities Group in Omaha, NE to support on-site teams on data center, industrial and manufacturing projects.

You will assist with safety and quality plans, QA/QC, estimating support, on-site coordination, and documentation, while growing your professional skills and Lean practices in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety and quality plans.
• Participates in QA/QC planning for quality on tasks.
• Assists with estimating and change management processes.
• Works on site with project team to monitor crew, hours, materials.
• Involves in punch lists, inspections, safety and quality reviews.
• Posts drawings and specs with latest information.
• Organizes and participates in project meetings; disseminates docs.
• Prepares reports: daily, weekly, manpower, schedules.
• Performs periodic site observations with leadership.
• Creates procurement logs and tracks shop drawings/deliveries.
• Provides progress updates to support scheduling.
• Supports close-out: punch list, manuals, as-builts.
