Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Iowa City invites applications for an entry‑level construction role with the Advanced Facilities Group. You’ll learn on-site, participate in QA/QC, estimating, procurement logs, and reporting while supporting project teams on industrial and data center projects.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in construction mgmt or engineering, or relevant experience, and are willing to travel and work non‑traditional hours. Safety and Lean practices are core to the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the degree.
• Entry level construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates with QA/QC planning for assigned tasks.
• Assists with estimating and change management using take-off and subcontractor proposals.
• Works on site with project team to monitor crew size, hours, materials.
• Prepares project reports and scheduling data.
• Supports project close-out documentation.
