Job summary

Kent Companies is seeking a Superintendent for its National Mission Critical Division. You will lead field operations on concrete construction projects across the United States, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

This role requires coordinating manpower and equipment, and partnering with Safety, Project Management, and Division Leadership to ensure successful execution. Applicants should have 8+ years in concrete construction, 3+ years as a Superintendent, and experience on Mission

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in concrete construction, with 3+ years spent as a Superintendent.
• 1+ year of experience on Mission Critical/Data Center projects.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must have reliable transportation to the workplace(s)/ job location(s).
• Ability to travel nationally 90% of the time.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safety - act as on-site Safety Coach, conduct daily reporting, JHAs, and toolbox talks.
• Initial Planning – study drawings and updates, flag issues early.
• Budgets - manage job sequence and maintain productivity within budget.
• Communication / Customer Service - set clear expectations with team and clients.
• Management - supervise field crews, manage labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Quality Control - ensure final product meets scope and survey points.
• Schedule - build and update project schedules, communicate changes.
• Cost to Complete – participate in monthly financial accountability meetings and reflect spending.
