Job summary

The Leidos AEGIS program seeks a Network Engineer to provide day-to-day network administration essential to mission success. You will ensure network requirements are communicated, prioritized, and implemented, and that all devices are integrated and maintained in compliance with cybersecurity standards.

You will monitor LAN/WAN, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, routing, firewalls, and VPN tunnels, install and maintain hardware, manage certificates, and keep CMDB records up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a related field with 5+ years of network engineering experience.
• CCNA or CompTIA Network+ active certification preferred.
• Experience administering enterprise LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, VPNs, DNS/DHCP.
• Experience managing network-connected appliances and CMDB documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated network administration for mission network infrastructure.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN; manage VLANs, DNS/DHCP, routing, firewalls, VPNs.
• Install and maintain network hardware and connected appliances.
• Ensure cybersecurity standards, certificate lifecycle management, and DIT encryption.
• Maintain CMDB documentation and IPAM records; coordinate with IT teams.
• Provide weekly status updates on tasks and appliance compliance.
