Job summary

SOSi is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our elite team at Joint Base Pearl Harbor–Hickam in Honolulu, Hawaii. Supporting a customer that delivers secure, high‑impact IT solutions to more than 5,000 users across the Pacific theater, this role sits at the center of time‑sensitive, mission‑driven operations.

The ideal candidate will configure and maintain Cisco routers/switches, firewalls, VDI, CUCM, VTC, and cryptographic devices, and must hold an active Top Secret/SCI

Qualifications

• Active in-scope TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility and US Passport
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Networking, or similar, or 6+ years of experience in network administration
• DoD 8570 IAT-II compliant (Security+ CE, CCNA, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP)
• Obtain Cisco CCNA within 6 months
• Strong knowledge in Cisco routers, switches, ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, CSfC, Taclane encryption methods, VDI environments, Cross-Domain Solutions, CUCM, and VTCs
• Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards including STIGs
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot network issues
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and communicate with POCs and customers
• Able to support 24/7 operations including exercises
• Able to follow instructions and work independently or in distributed teams

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, ASAs, Taclane devices, and VoIP systems
• Support and troubleshoot eBGP routing within a Palo Alto environment
• Implement CSfC and Taclane encryption methods for data protection
• Maintain VDI environments for secure user access
• Manage CUCM, VTCs, and other Cisco VoIP systems for reliable communications
• Review and troubleshoot network transport and protocol issues
• Collaborate with Cross-Domain Solutions for secure information sharing
• Participate in project coordination with management for successful execution
• Liaise with POCs and customers to understand network needs and solutions
• Follow guidance from Network Operations Lead and adhere to SOPs
• Engage in related solution technologies and special projects as required
