Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Computer Support Specialist to support end user hardware, asset management, and secure communications systems at NMIC in Suitland, MD. The role involves maintaining IT infrastructure, providing technical support to mission-critical operations, and delivering training to rotating military personnel.

Requirements include a Bachelor/Associate/High School plus years of experience, active TS/SCI clearance, and certifications such as A+/Network+/Security+ or CISSP/CASP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 1+ year of experience, or equivalent higher credential.
• Active TS/SCI clearance in DISS with required program access.
• Certifications: CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, CISSP or CASP within six months.
• Experience supporting Windows, Linux, and Unix infrastructure.
• Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and SCCM.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software in desktop computing environments.
• Perform network switch patching and configuration.
• Apply security patches and maintain current patch levels.
• Develop test specifications and procedures.
• Design, install, and schedule voice and video communications systems.
• Support asset management including inventory, relocation, repair, removal, and destruction of equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely support.
• Deliver training to rotating military personnel on system configuration, hardware repair, and secure communications.
