Job summary

CACI is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Project Manager to join our team supporting a mission-critical DHS contract. You will lead rapid-response, short-fuse engineering and IT infrastructure initiatives across 24/7 environments, guiding matrixed teams from initiation through deployment and transition to Operations and Maintenance.

The role requires strong leadership, formal project management experience, and familiarity with the SELC framework.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain TS/SCI DoD Security Clearance (active TS preferred).
• Ability to obtain DHS Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred.
• B.A./B.S. or equivalent + 8 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• All areas of Project Management from initiation through closeout, ensuring successful execution for government customer’s mission, goals and objectives.
• Manage, schedule, and coordinate project activities and staff assignments.
• Provide leadership to a cross-functional team, manage resources, dates, priorities and SLAs.
• Document and track the project lifecycle in ServiceNow PPM.
• Produce rough orders of magnitude and estimates for surge resources.
• Oversee projects from requirements through deployment and production support.
• Maintain risk registers and mitigation plans for issues and risks.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure timely communications with stakeholders.
• Support transition from engineering to O&M and provide status reporting.
