Job summary

CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer to support mission-critical systems in Springfield, VA. You will coordinate deployments, interface with government customers, and lead analysis to improve reliability and readiness.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and a strong technical background. You will work across geographically distributed teams to ensure seamless integration, troubleshooting, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or engineering support within a complex operational environment.
• Experience coordinating software development, integration, testing, deployment, or sustainment activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate software development, integration, testing, and deployment across multiple development teams and operational environments.
• Serve as a primary technical interface between software developers, government customers, SETA representatives, Tier 1 operators, Tier 2 maintainers, and other mission stakeholders.
• Review, schedule, and deconflict software deliveries, system maintenance, and engineering activities to minimize operational impacts.
• Assess system readiness for software deliveries, identify technical risks and dependencies, and brief customer leadership ahead of milestones.
• Investigate operational anomalies, assess system behavior, coordinate troubleshooting with developers and maintainers, and track issues through resolution.
• Analyze system performance, operational metrics, incident trends, and recurring issues to identify risks and improvements.
• Develop and deliver weekly, monthly, and ad hoc technical reports including system performance and readiness.
• Review technical docs, release notes, test results, and procedures for accuracy and readiness.
• Track and coordinate discrepancies, changes, and issues across teams.
• Prepare PMR content highlighting accomplishments, progress, and risks.
• Maintain operational and engineering guidance for internal teams and partners.
• Support after-hours troubleshooting as needed.
• Collaborate across sites to improve processes and mission execution.
