Job summary

Design West Technologies Inc. is seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist to provide on-site Windows-based technical support at our Tustin, CA facility.

You will work with the Systems Administrator and Cybersecurity team to support users, devices, accounts, printers, and software while upholding security practices in a regulated defense environment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in IT support, hands-on Windows 11 experience, and familiarity with AD, Entra ID, M365 GCC High, and Intune.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of IT support/Help Desk experience in a business environment.
• Experience supporting Windows 11 desktops/laptops and printers.
• Working knowledge of AD, Entra ID, M365 GCC High and Intune.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Willingness to work on-site and provide after-hours support.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person technical support for Windows 11 desktops, laptops, software, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and access-related issues.
• Configure and maintain desktop hardware and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory and M365 environments.
• Assist with password resets, MFA, and email/Office applications.
• Support printer accounts and related configurations.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and follow CS/IRM procedures.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff and participate in on-call rotation.
