Job summary

Metris Global is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to provide design and development support for client-specific requirements and SOPs. The role reports to the Location Site Lead at Camp Lejeune, NC and is an onsite, M-F position from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

You will prepare design documents, create storyboards, select delivery methods, and structure reliable tests and exercises to demonstrate competency. Clearance requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Instructional Systems, Instructional Systems Technology, or related field.
• Five years’ work experience may substitute the degree.
• Minimum two years using ISD to develop courses and training.
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite and graphics tools.
• Background checks and security clearances may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design documents in line with USCG SOPs and task orders.
• Create storyboards and outlines for content development per SOPs.
• Select delivery methods and media to support performance testing.
• Develop tests and practical exercises to verify learned tasks.
• Conduct formative and summative evaluations and pilot studies.
• Revise work based on reviews and pilot data.
• Plan piloting training experiences and report pilot results.
• Ensure compliance with TRASYS SOPs and contract requirements.
• Work with government and contract teams with effective communication.
