Job summary

Metris LLC is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer for a 100% remote role supporting USCG task orders. The ISD professional will design and develop training solutions, create storyboards, select delivery media, and conduct formative and summative evaluations in alignment with USCG SOPs and TRASYS standards.

Requirements include a master’s degree or equivalent ISD experience, two years ISD experience, and proficiency with MS Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint and graphics software.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Instructional Systems or related field preferred or five years' related experience may substitute
• Minimum of two years' experience using the ISD process in course development
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and computer graphics programs

Responsibilities

• Provide design documents per USCG SOPs and task order requirements
• Prepare storyboards/outlines for content development per SOPs
• Select delivery methods and media to support development of performance and testing
• Prepare tests and practical exercises to reliably indicate learning
• Perform formative and summative evaluations including pilot studies
• Revise materials based on feedback and pilot data
• Develop pilot training plans and reports
• Participate in reviews and ensure conformance to TRASYS SOPs and task orders
• Other duties as assigned; communicate and collaborate effectively with government/contract team
