Job summary

Stantec seeks an ICT Designer to develop system designs for backbone and horizontal cabling within mission-critical facilities. You will perform site surveys, prepare deliverables, and ensure quality control while coordinating with project teams.

Requirements include an accredited engineering degree and 5+ years in the ICT field, with CAD/Bluebeam/Revit proficiency. Position is based in the United States with multiple locations including Dayton, OH.

Qualifications

• ICT design principles for backbone and horizontal cabling.
• Knowledge of customer-owned outside plant pathway design.
• Familiarity with TIA standards and BICSI best practices.
• Experience with Data Center Facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations.
• Proficiency in CAD, Bluebeam, and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists.
• Prepares project deliverables per client’s scope.
• Follows quality management processes and QA/QC.
• Participates in professional development activities.
• Manages project inputs to meet timelines and budgets.
• Assists or acts as project manager, coordinating tasks and resources.
• Identifies risks and communicates potential roadblocks.
