Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team in Chicago and San Francisco is seeking an ICT Designer to contribute to backbone and horizontal cabling projects. You will perform basic technical duties under supervision, coordinate production, and assist with project planning and execution.

Requirements include an accredited engineering degree, 5+ years in ICT design, and proficiency with CAD, Bluebeam, and Revit. Travel and client coordination are common, with a focus on quality and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years related industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists as required by project timelines.
• Prepares project deliverables per the client’s scope of work.
• Follows Stantec’s quality management process and QA/QC reviews.
• Participates in the engineering/professional community for knowledge growth.
