Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is a global leader in sustainable design, seeking an ICT Designer to perform basic technical duties under supervision and coordinate with project teams. You will apply ICT design principles for backbone and horizontal cabling and contribute to data center projects.

You will read and interpret technical documents, attend site surveys, and assist in delivering client-focused designs within schedule and budget. Chicago and Richmond locations are noted in the job details.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years related industry experience preferred.
• Proficient in CAD, Bluebeam, and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists.
• Prepares project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work in Stantec's proposal.
• Follows Stantec’s quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting to QA/QC reviewer.
• Meets or exceeds utilization goals and adheres to project budget.
