Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Operations Manager to provide day-to-day contractor coordination and operational oversight across POTFF sites in support of USSOCOM. This role ensures staffing continuity, accurate data visibility, and seamless integration of contractor personnel across Human Performance, Psychological Performance, Cognitive Performance, and Social/Family domains.

The position requires 7+ years in operations or program management and experience with

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in operations, program management, or military support roles.
• Experience supporting large-scale DoW/USSOCOM or similar contracts preferred.
• Ability to manage rosters, track personnel status, and maintain data systems under tight timelines.
• Strong organizational, communication, and escalation skills in a multi-site environment.
• Familiarity with credentialing, security clearances, and labor-hour tracking.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day contractor coordination at assigned sites; track roster status, absences, and workload handoffs.
• Support the PMO to manage the cost, schedule, and performance of the contract.
• Lead teams to define staffing plans and execute resource management requirements.
• Screen and evaluate candidate experience, education, and certifications for compliance.
• Coordinate interviews of candidate personnel with hiring managers.
• Plan and determine hiring needs based on attrition and customer requirements.
• Monitor vacancies and absences and escalate within 24 hours.
• Feed staffing data into the PMT for government visibility.
• Support interview processes for components.
• Maintain PMT/roster entries and credentialing status.
