Job summary

Sargent & Lundy’s Government Services Division offers opportunities for engineers and designers to work on DOE facility design projects, including new and retrofit designs, gloveboxes and complex control systems.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team focusing on instrumentation, controls, automation, electrical design and related drafting tasks, with exposure to 2D/3D CAD tools and field walkdowns.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain US Government security clearance.
• Essential skills include drafting experience and familiarity with I&C, automation, electrical/controls.
• 8+ years of drafting/design experience; associate degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work on project teams with I&C designers and engineers on PLC-based control systems.
• Prepare design media for procurement and implementation of software, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Develop and use CAD drawings to scale showing installations relative to facilities.
