Frequentis USA Inc. is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer in Maryland to design, deploy, and manage automated deployments for mission critical systems.

You will work on networking, hardware/software integration, and high-availability architectures with a focus on security and performance. You will mentor junior engineers, maintain monitoring and logging pipelines, and collaborate across program management, hardware and software teams, test engineering, and field engineering to ensure

Qualifications

• BS in Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience with IT systems and engineering.
• 5-9 years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer implementing automated deployments of integrated hardware and software solutions in networking and communications.
• Ability to learn, select, and integrate new technologies into system solutions.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements automated software deployments, network configurations, and telecom integrations for networking and our proprietary communications equipment.
• Implements hardware and software monitoring, reporting, and upgrade paths.
• Establishes a management system design including conceptual, functional, and physical designs of complex mission critical systems implemented in high availability architectures.
• Provides systems engineering for software and hardware systems, subsystems, modules, and application tools.
• Monitors system performance and implements security measures, troubleshooting, maintenance, and system improvements.
• Creates and reviews technical documentation for internal and external customers.
• Takes ownership of Engineering related deliverables and their technical compliance required by the program.
• Interfaces with other company departments for total project success.
