Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction in Dallas, TX seeks a Superintendent with Mission Critical experience to lead field activities for a data center project. You will supervise subcontractors and employees to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with strict safety and quality controls.

You will coordinate with the project team, review test results, and help manage preconstruction planning, scheduling, and closeout to meet client expectations and company standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 4–7 years of experience with at least 3 years in a Superintendent role.
• Experience working on mission critical construction projects.
• Experience commissioning data centers.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, cost reports, and QA/QC processes.
• Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Review progress, cost reports, schedules, and completion requirements with the Project Manager/Senior Superintendent.
• Participate in preconstruction planning regarding schedule and budget.
• Ensure materials and subs work meet contract documents and quality specifications; record test results.
• Direct subcontractor and field personnel; communicate expectations on safety, quality, and methods.
• Attend weekly progress meetings with subcontractors and manage closeout activities with customers.
• Support customer relations and reflect company values in daily leadership and project execution.
