Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Mission Critical Senior Project Manager to lead our Large Projects Group in Dallas, TX. You will act as the senior onsite representative, overseeing contract administration, change orders, procurement, and project financials to ensure quality, profitability, safety, and on-time delivery.

Strong leadership and client-relations skills are essential. This role requires a BS in Construction Management or Engineering with 10+ years of experience, OSHA training, and

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred and 10+ years of experience.
• Sign up for OSHA courses and complete them within the first six months of employment.
• Demonstrates leadership skills with ability to face challenges, solve problems, and motivate others.
• Supervises and develops direct reports while prioritizing and delegating responsibilities.
• Proficiency using a PC and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
• Meets/understands MEP systems, standards, schedule expectations, commissioning for data centers and mission critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Creates and manages project budgets and GMP development.
• Reviews owner contracts, bonds, fees, schedules, reporting, and costs.
• Develops monthly PFR and LCR projections on time.
• Collaborates with Preconstruction to review costs and budgets.
• Manages subcontracting process and final negotiations.
• Develops Mission Alignment Plan with client and administers it.
• Creates schedules and resource allocations for projects.
• Ensures safety, quality, and timely results on assigned projects.
