Job summary

STV is seeking a Construction Manager – Shell & Core to lead field management for a large-scale data center project in Dallas, TX. You will oversee shell and core activity from site development through dry-in, coordinating with GC, subs, design teams, and QA/QC to hit safety, schedule, and budget targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CM/engineering/architecture and 7+ years’ experience in ground-up core/shell work, with data center experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive construction management on large-scale projects.
• Experience with ground-up shell/core and data center environments.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, RFIs, and submittals.
• Strong safety, quality control, and closeout knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shell/core field management for sitework, foundations, and envelope.
• Oversee general contractors and trades to meet drawings and schedules.
• Coordinate between structural, architectural, civil, and MEP scopes.
• Monitor progress, risk, and contractor performance; drive issue resolution.
• Support turnover to downstream commissioning and operations teams.
