Job summary

World Wide Professional Solutions seeks a Construction Director, Core & Shell, to lead a large-scale data center project on site in Texas. The role oversees safety, quality, schedule, cost, and risk while directing core and shell construction and contractor performance for the Owner.

You will engage with GCs, consultants, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with design, specifications, and Owner standards, and will drive predictable execution and issue resolution across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive construction leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large scale data centers or mission critical facilities.
• Strong core and shell construction experience on complex projects.
• Proven experience managing General Contractors on behalf of an Owner.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for core and shell construction execution across a large scale data center project.
• Represent the Owner in direct engagement with General Contractors, consultants, vendors, and key project stakeholders.
• Manage General Contractor performance across safety, quality, schedule, cost, productivity, coordination, and risk.
• Establish and reinforce a strong site safety culture with clear expectations and accountability.
• Drive schedule execution and mitigate risks to critical milestones.
• Oversee core and shell construction including site development, civil, structural, architectural, building envelope, MEP interfaces.
• Coordinate with project leadership, design teams, MEP teams, commissioning resources, and specialty functions for integration.
• Lead contractor planning, issue resolution, corrective action, and recovery planning.
