Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead mission-critical data center projects. You will coordinate multiple engineering disciplines, manage safety, cost, schedule and quality, and guide project teams from planning through execution.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related field and at least seven years of relevant experience, plus strong communication, analytical and leadership skills and proficiency with project management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
• 7+ years of applicable experience in construction or program management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and overtime on short notice.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to collaborate with owners, contractors and engineers in a multi-discipline team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct engineering projects including safety, cost, schedule and quality.
• Ensure project reviews and quality control guidelines are followed.
• Establish project teams and coordinate multiple disciplines.
• Solve complex problems requiring adaptation of standard techniques.
• Execute complex assignments and develop new processes or methods.
• Develop and evaluate plans for major projects.
• Coordinate departmental studies, reports or project design assignments.
• Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced staff.
• Regularly meet with clients and outside personnel.
