Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking a Mission Critical Facilities Engineer to work under a Senior Project Engineer. You will design within your discipline, guide designers, and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams on data center projects.

The role emphasizes technically challenging, cutting-edge designs and open locations with a Stantec presence. You will collaborate to deliver client-ready deliverables, support QA processes, and pursue continual professional growth while meeting utilization

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years related industry experience.
• PE/FE/EIT or other certification preferred depending on area.
• Datacenter experience desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop basic system designs within own discipline under supervision.
• Delegate tasks to project designers as appropriate.
• Prepare deliverables per client scope and proposal.
• Coordinate with all disciplines to integrate work and client requests.
• Support QA/AC reviews and site observation reports.
• Participate in professional community activities for growth.
• Assist Project Engineer on project tasks.
• Meet utilization goals and adhere to budget.
