Job summary

Strategic Mission Critical in the United States is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to execute electrical design for mission-critical data center projects, including greenfield and brownfield facilities, fit-outs for hyperscale and colocation clients, and power systems studies.

You will lead design tasks under a senior engineer, interface with mechanical, telecom, and architectural teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in electrical or architectural engineering with electrical focus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in facility electrical design using Revit.
• Experience with power studies (Neher-McGrath, short circuit, coordination, arc flash) is a plus.
• Experience leading small electrical design teams and client interface preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical infrastructure for mission-critical buildings and campuses including medium voltage distribution and UPS backup.
• Coordinate with all disciplines for required electrical power connections.
• Coordinate monitoring interfaces with controls and telecom engineers.
• Review client standards and project specs to apply best practices.
• Produce design documents using Autodesk Revit on a daily basis.
• Travel up to 10–20% as required.
• Mentor and lead junior engineers, designers, and modelers.
• Ensure on-time delivery and effective communication with clients.
