Job summary

Strategic Mission Critical in Seattle seeks a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to execute electrical design for mission critical facilities. You will work on greenfield and brownfield data center projects, contribute to power systems studies, and collaborate with mechanical, telecom, and architectural teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead small project teams, and ensure designs meet codes and client standards.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in electrical or architectural engineering with an electrical focus preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in facility electrical design.
• Experience with power studies such as Neher-McGrath, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash is a plus.
• Experience leading small electrical design teams and client interface is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical infrastructure for mission critical buildings and campuses including medium voltage distribution and UPS backup.
• Coordinate with all disciplines for required electrical power connections.
• Lead junior engineers, designers, and modelers on small projects.
• Mentor and train junior engineers to develop electrical design knowledge base.
