Job summary

DLR Group seeks an Electrical Engineer for Mission Critical Projects to design and coordinate electrical systems for data centers and related facilities. You will work with architects and clients to develop efficient power and lighting solutions and prepare detailed drawings and calculations.

Responsibilities include BIM coordination in Revit, developing designs from concept to construction, and guiding project teams through shop drawing reviews, RFIs, and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or architectural engineering.
• 10+ years in an MEP or integrated design firm on electrical projects.
• 5+ years on data center design projects.
• Proficient in BIM (Revit MEP) workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients in an integrated design process.
• Create and coordinate documents using Revit.
• Develop electrical designs from concept through construction.
• Prepare engineering calculations and layouts.
• Write and review specifications and narratives.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and submittals.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals; conduct site visits.
• Manage electrical or interdisciplinary project teams.
