Job summary

DLB Associates seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer for Mission Critical facilities. This role oversees end-to-end electrical design for hyperscale data centers, coordinating with engineering and project management to deliver construction documents and specifications.

The position emphasizes self-direction, team leadership, and collaboration with clients while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (ABET) with PE preferred or active
• Minimum eight years of electrical engineering experience in mission critical facilities
• Experience with medium/low voltage distribution, UPS, generators, and life-safety systems

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design from concept through construction for mission critical facilities
• Collaborate with design staff and project management to produce construction documents
• Coordinate resources and manage design team communications
• Review RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals; manage schedule and budget
• Promote AI-enabled efficiency and technology adoption in projects
