Job summary

Clayco is seeking our next great Superintendent for our national Mission Critical Business Unit. In this role you will provide on-site supervision and quality control for field operations and onsite management of design/build construction projects.

The Superintendent will observe work in the field and compare to drawings to ensure installations meet drawings and specifications. Travel and relocation may be required to support projects ranging from $20M to over $200M.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience with progression to management.
• 5–10 years of experience in highly technical commercial/industrial construction management on 50M+ projects.
• Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors to meet budget and schedule.
• Strong safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite.
• Creative, results-oriented with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with preconstruction, design, engineering, procurement, operations, safety, quality, and site teams to ensure sufficient resources.
• Supervise construction employees and subcontractors to achieve budget and schedule targets.
• Maintain strong safety and quality standards on all sites.
• Travel or relocate to jobsite as needed to support projects.
• Work collaboratively with clients to deliver design-build projects.
