Job summary

Jobot is seeking a BAS Sales Engineer to support growth in the Dallas-Fort Worth data center market. You will develop and manage relationships with owners, operators, engineers, contractors, and commissioning teams to drive BAS, EPMS, and monitoring solutions for hyperscale and enterprise facilities.

This role emphasizes understanding building automation systems and delivering solution-based strategies for uptime, reliability, and performance on high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in BAS, controls, HVAC or related technical sales.
• Experience selling BAS, BMS, EPMS, SCADA or critical facility infra.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings.
• Strong understanding of building systems and integration protocols.
• Experience with consulting engineers, contractors and end users.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage a sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business in mission-critical and data center markets.
• Build relationships with owners, engineers, contractors, and partners.
• Identify BAS, EPMS, monitoring and critical facility solutions.
• Lead discovery meetings and create solution-based sales plans.
• Review plans and specifications to identify opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, budgets and technical presentations.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews and client presentations.
• Manage opportunities from pursuit to award and turnover.
• Stay informed on data center tech trends.
