Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Atlanta seeks a Project Manager I to lead overall direction for a project, manage operations, and build relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors in support of the company's strategy and values. Responsibilities include leading safety culture, managing prestart, supporting preconstruction activities, coordinating submittals, cost forecasting, and closeout.

A Bachelor’s in CM/engineering and 5+ years CM experience are required; travel and non‑traditional

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willing to travel and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and mentoring.
• Manages prestart process and preconstruction activities.
• Supports scope development, bid package creation, and schedule development.
• Leads buyout scheduling, pricing, and subcontractor selection.
• Manages submittal schedules and ensures timely submittals to architects/engineers.
• Coordinates pricing with logistics and reviews change requests.
• Leads project meetings and monthly reviews.
• Prepares cost and margin forecasts and assists with budget development.
• Manages project closeout using standard practices.
