Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. in Falls Church, VA seeks an Assistant Project Manager (Mission Critical) to coordinate information, manage budgets, and drive projects to on-time delivery with quality outcomes.

You will partner with field teams and the project superintendent, develop RFP packages, monitor schedules, and uphold safety standards while advancing your beginner-level leadership path.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, four-year degree strongly preferred in construction, engineering, or business.
• 2-5 years' experience in commercial construction with a general contractor is ideal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety standards on all sites.
• Assist in creating and managing project budgets for assigned projects.
• Develop pre-construction RFP packages and milestones.
• Attend project meetings and prepare monthly owner reports.
• Establish job processes for RFIs, submittals, pay apps, and change orders.
• Collaborate with site team and project superintendent throughout the project.
