Job summary

Peraton seeks a Cloud Administrator to support the SITEC contract under the DSS-3 EOM, located at Camp H.M. Smith, HI. The role provides tier-three systems support, manages AWS/Azure environments, and ensures security and data protection in a mission-critical government network.

The ideal candidate has TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II certification, 2+ years of cloud and Windows Server experience, and strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders to sustain 24x7 operations.

Qualifications

• BS + 2 years of experience OR HS with 6 years of experience OR AA with 4 yrs of experience.
• DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification required.
• At least 2 years of IT experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of AWS/Microsoft Azure experience.
• Proven track record with production Windows Servers and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the AWS/Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security.
• Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
• Migrate existing infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions.
• Manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions.
• Develop and implement policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss.
• Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized.
• Ensure all resources components meet proper performance and capacity standards.
• Innovate and implement new technologies to advance mission readiness.
