Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an ASIC & FPGA Verification Engineer to join the central ASIC & FPGA Engineering division. You will support over 50 programs and contribute to R&D efforts across military and civil space, missiles, satellites, and deep space missions.

In this role, you will develop verification plans, use SystemVerilog and UVM in a Linux HPC environment, create test benches, and document results. A DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in verification of FPGA and/or ASIC devices.
• HDL programming with VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.
• Willing to obtain DoD Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop verification plans for ASIC/FPGA designs.
• Work with low SWaP, radiation hardened, space-rated devices.
• Use SystemVerilog and UVM to verify designs in a Linux-based HPC environment.
• Develop requirements, test cases, benches, reports, and verification results.
• Collaborate with an independent design team to document and resolve bugs.
• Support all aspects of ASIC/FPGA development—from architecture to analysis.
• Present findings in technical reviews to internal and external stakeholders.
