Job summary

Waabi is seeking a Mission Control Manager in Texas to own operations end to end, lead a growing team, and drive key performance indicators for 24/7 dispatch and remote assist. This senior role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to scale processes for driverless operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years leading operations with substantial people leadership.
• Experience running a 24/7 shift-based control center or dispatch floor.
• Proven track record of building and scaling teams and operating models.
• Calm judgment under pressure with excellent cross-functional communication.
• Continuous-improvement discipline: turning incidents into better processes.
• Comfortable in a technical environment; deep AV engineering is not required.
• Background in logistics, trucking, aviation, or AV operations is a plus.
• Location-ready to work onsite in Lancaster, TX with shift flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Own Mission Control operations end to end across remote assist and dispatch across supervised R&D testing and driverless operations at launch.
• Lead, coach, hire and develop Remote Assist Specialists and Mission Control Specialists: staffing, scheduling, training, performance management.
