Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a dedicated Transport Associate for a full-time day shift (6a-4:30p, Monday-Thursday) at the Fort Worth location.

You will transport patients, deliver and pickup equipment, and maintain supply par levels while adhering to universal precautions. A HS diploma and BCLS certification are required or preferred with related experience in customer service.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months related experience preferred or 6 months customer service experience.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• Ability to make independent decisions with tact and professionalism.
• Excellent verbal communication and command of English.

Responsabilités

• Transport patients to and from patient care areas.
• Deliver and pick up patient care equipment and supplies.
• Maintain par levels and clean equipment in designated areas.
• Follow Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution policies.
• Accept additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Here’s What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
• 6 Months related experience Preferred or
• 6 Months customer service Preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.
• Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful.
• Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management.

• Transport patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.
• Deliver and pick up patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services and other supporting items throughout the hospital.
• Maintain par levels and cleans equipment in designated areas.
• Adhere to Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy.
• Willingly accept additional duties and tasks assigned by leadership.
