Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Mission Control team member to transport patients between care areas, deliver equipment and supplies, and support patient services across the hospital. The role emphasizes safe practices and proactive problem solving within a professional healthcare team.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 6 months of related experience or customer service, and BCLS certification with quarterly maintenance. Strong communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.
• Deliver and pick up patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services and other supporting items throughout the hospital.
• Maintain par levels and cleans equipment in designated areas.
• Adhere to Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy.
• Willingly accept additional duties and tasks assigned by leadership.

Here’s What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
• 6 Months related experience Preferred or
• 6 Months customer service Preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.
• Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful.
• Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management.
