Raytheon in Aurora, CO is seeking a Systems Engineer II – Modeling, Simulation & Analysis to join one of our premier programs. You will develop high-fidelity models and simulations to support missile design, performance assessment, and flight test activities.

Work with cross-functional teams across GNC, signal processing, systems engineering, and software engineering to evaluate system performance and guide design decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience using C/C++ and/or Python/MATLAB for engineering data analysis and modeling.
• Experience developing models, simulations, or analyses for complex systems.
• Active and transferable DoD Secret clearance required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-fidelity models and simulations to support missile design, performance assessment, and flight test activities.
• Design, develop, and implement modeling and simulation solutions to evaluate system performance through trade studies and analyses.
• Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, Systems Engineering, and Software Engineering teams to execute simulation activities.
• Analyze simulation results and provide technical recommendations that influence architecture and design choices.
• Support the product lifecycle from concept to system integration, verification, flight test, and fielded operations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary technical reviews and resolve challenges to improve system performance.
