Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Systems Administrator I to support MTCCS II at the XVIII Airborne Corps. You will ensure system health, implement patches, and troubleshoot hardware/software in a mission-training environment.

The role requires a BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of related experience, and IAT-II Security+ CE certification. Fort Bragg onsite location; Travel limited. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a related field or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training.
• Minimum of 5+ years of related experience; MT C and MTC experience preferred.
• IAT-II baseline certification per DoD 8570.01-M: Security+ CE

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to training events and exercises per the MTC program.
• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of systems.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Deploy, configure and troubleshoot network devices for exercises and projects.
• Configure and optimize systems to meet operational requirements.
• Integrate components and systems in an LVC environment.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations and changes.
• Prepare reports and present findings to management and customer personnel.
• Serve as a customer interface to resolve problems and ensure requirements are met
