Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer for the Chinook Program supporting an IC customer. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain a software application powering critical national security missions.

You’ll translate requirements into software solutions, implement features, and help establish secure coding practices. Engage in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and containerized environments as part of an agile team.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required per contract.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 4–8 years of experience, or Master’s with less than 2–6 years.
• Proficiency with web tech (HTML, CSS, JSON, Ajax, REST APIs) and OOP languages (Python/Java/JavaScript).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software for GEOINT mission.
• Translate requirements into scalable software solutions and APIs.
• Develop unit, integration, and automated tests; perform code reviews.
• Support CI/CD, DevSecOps, and containerized environments.
