Job summary

Dover Networks LLC is seeking a general-purpose software engineer embedded in operations for up-and-coming projects. You will own the full product lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance of all team tools, including integrating tools from other teams into our toolkit for mission-centric results.

You will work closely with analysts, operators and other software engineers to define new requirements and provide tactical operational support, including quick reaction support and longer

Qualifications

• Must produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python with network programming experience.
• Provide support for fielded software systems and coordinate with operators and analysts.
• Reverse engineering experience required; familiarity with modern VCS/tools.
• Experience with Atlassian suite (Confluence/Jira/Bamboo) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Augment existing tools to meet mission requirements.
• Derive, document, and analyze software requirements.
• Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission needs.
• Deliver end-to-end toolsets operating within mission constraints.
• Provide technical consulting across software products and technologies.
• Participate in peer code reviews.
