Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of aerospace experience
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (US Citizenship)
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field required

Responsibilities

• Review supplier and internal engineering designs with focus on material safety and reliability
• Identify reliable parts for space mission designs
• Apply understanding of EEE standards in selection of space-qualified parts
• Identify risks and mitigation actions and communicate with relevant parties
• Support FRB, CAB, and PMPCB activities
• Assist testing and qualification of materials and components for space environment
• Evaluate defective components and failure analysis to support engineers
• Interpret industry and internal specs in the context of space mission risks
• Provide independent mission support aligned with mission requirements and design philosophy
