Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Mission Assurance Engineer to expand their view of the design space from concept through operations. You will identify risk, review designs, and work with programs across all stages to ensure mission success within cost and schedule targets.

This onsite role offers exposure to satellite, ground, and network systems and requires security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field
• 5+ years in space system design, assembly, testing, or operation
• Experience in mission design and/or operation, electronics, power systems, or RF
• Ability to obtain US Citizenship and a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mission assurance efforts across programs
• Provide electrical power and circuit design SME input
• Review mission designs with engineers for testing and execution
• Evaluate test plans for verification against mission environment
• Develop or adapt tools for analysis and problem solving
• Coordinate with integration, testing, and mission operation teams
• Participate in mission operations and anomaly resolution
• Report findings to program leadership for timely solutions
