Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks a Systems Engineer to assess and resolve technical problems on space systems, guide teams through PMP controls, and review design implementations for space vehicles. The role emphasizes problem solving, leadership, and strong communication across engineering disciplines.

Based onsite in Southern California, candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field; U.S. Citizenship required.
• 2–5 years of experience in a relevant aerospace environment.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Review designs, documentation and processes for material safety and reliability.
• Identify appropriate, reliable parts for mission designs.
• Apply EEE standards in part selection for space-qualified hardware.
• Identify risks, recommend corrective actions and manage technical communications.
• Support FRB, CAB, and PMPCB activities and knowledge capture.
• Evaluate component qualification and interpret test results.
• Ensure compliance with industry, government, and internal part specifications.
• Provide independent support across space vehicle systems to ensure mission success.
