Job summary

Millennium Space Systems in California is seeking experienced Mission Assurance Engineers (Level 3/4) to broaden their perspective from design to full mission lifecycle. This 100% onsite role supports one or more programs from concept through final operations, with emphasis on risk management, design review, and anomaly resolution.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering and 5+ years of space systems experience, with the ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with space systems relevance.
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in space system design, assembly, testing or operation.
• Ability to obtain US Citizenship and security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mission assurance efforts, including risk management and design review.
• Provide electrical power and circuit design SME expertise for satellite, ground, or network systems.
• Review mission designs and coordinate with engineers to verify test plans and environmental suitability.
• Evaluate qualification and acceptance test plans for requirements verification.
• Develop or adapt tools to solve technical problems via analysis, design, or simulation.
• Collaborate with integration, testing, and mission operation crews on anomaly training and resolution.
• Support mission operations and coordinate findings with program leadership.
