Job summary

RTX is seeking a System Engineer II – Mission Analyst in McKinney, TX, to join the Operations and Mission Analysis team. You will develop model-based solutions, run mission simulations, and analyze outcomes to assess system effectiveness in complex threat environments. Candidates should have STEM education and hands-on experience with Python, MATLAB, and Linux.

Active Secret clearance is required, U.S. citizenship is a must, and the role is onsite with potential collaboration across government

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
• Experience with Python, Bash or similar scripting languages.
• Experience in MATLAB or scientific computing environments.
• Knowledge of sensors, networks, or command and control is a plus.
• Experience with defense modeling and data analysis is preferred.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement model-based solutions for mission trade studies.
• Create variable-fidelity computer models and simulations.
• Model system and mission kill chains using government, commercial, or Raytheon tools.
• Run mission system simulations and analyze results.
• Develop metrics and communication products for event chains.
• Participate in technical reviews with customers.
