Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Senior Director to lead the Missiles and Launch Vehicle Valves Business Segment within the Space Division.

You will drive the strategic plan, own the P&L, and oversee complex development programs while coordinating with customers and internal Moog teams to ensure growth and profitability. This leadership role requires 12+ years of experience, strong manufacturing financial acumen, and outstanding communication to influence cross-functional partners across the Propulsion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related discipline.
• Master's degree in engineering or business preferred.
• 12+ years of experience managing business functions in a diverse environment.
• Demonstrated P&L leadership including budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategy, and sales organization management.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management with cross-functional influence.
• Exceptional business and financial acumen including contract management and risk assessment.
• Strong strategic thinking balancing long-term vision with execution.
• Excellent relationship-building with customers and leadership teams.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the strategic plan for the Missiles and Launch Vehicle Valves Segment.
• Manage P&L and Balance Sheet, setting targets for bookings, sales, and profit.
• Oversee day-to-day program execution of complex development and production programs.
• Build relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and Moog stakeholders.
• Maintain metrics-driven customer satisfaction and serve as escalation point.
• Support new business opportunities aligned with market needs.
• Serve on Propulsion Business Unit Leadership Team and contribute to planning and capital decisions.
• Collaborate with peers to align workforce and capital plans for the segment.
• Track progress and address gaps with Propulsion Systems BU leadership.
