Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Engineer - Missile Defense to join our Space Ground Systems Engineering team in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO. You will bridge systems engineering, applied physics, and mathematical optimization to design track-fusion pipelines and threat-assignment algorithms for next-generation missile defense systems.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret security clearance is required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in relevant field.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Aerospace, Physics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong foundation in applied mathematics, physics, and programming.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for modeling and algorithm development (writing robust code).

Responsibilities

• Design track-fusion pipelines for missile defense systems.
• Develop threat-assignment algorithms and conduct sensitivity analyses.
• Prototype and model using Python/C++ for non-customer-facing simulations.
• Bridge low-level physics/threat inputs to high-level mission outputs.
