Anduril Industries in Colorado Springs and Huntsville seeks a Systems Engineer - Missile Defense to bridge systems engineering, applied math, and algorithm development. You will design track-fusion pipelines, develop threat-assignment algorithms, and perform sensitivity analyses across architectures using Python/C++.
Applicants should have 5+ years of engineering experience, a relevant engineering degree, and an active U.S. Secret clearance.
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
The Space Ground Systems Engineering team solves the mathematical, physical, and algorithmic problems at the core of next-generation missile defense and fire control systems. We tackle dynamic battle-management challenges: fusing real-time sensor streams into track data, optimizing weapon-target assignment under uncertainty, and feeding high-confidence fire-control schedules back to the warfighter.
We are looking for a Systems Engineer - Missile Defense to join our rapidly growing team in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging systems engineering, applied physics, and mathematical optimization to solve complex missile defense problems. You will design track-fusion pipelines, build threat-assignment algorithms, and conduct deep sensitivity analyses across complex architectures. This will require proficiency in applied math, physics, and algorithm development using Python or C++, alongside an understanding of sensor data and battle management workflows. If you are someone who moves quickly, loves diving deep into the math behind the system, and can operate autonomously to deliver verified, defensible technical solutions, then this role is for you.
Top Secret / SCI eligible preferred.
