Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a motivated Missile Defense Systems Engineer/Analyst to join a team supporting missile defense R&D, test and evaluation at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. You will perform modeling, simulation, algorithm testing, data generation, and analysis as part of the CTEC program.

Key duties include evaluating sensor performance, coordinating with stakeholders, and presenting results to diverse audiences. Travel is 0–10%; relocation not required. Schedule is M-F, onsite.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• B.S. degree in engineering, CS, physics, mathematics or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating sensor performance, data fusion, multi-sensor tracking, target discrimination, system-level C2 algorithms, and BM techniques.
• Developing and evaluating advanced prototypes; evaluating third-party algorithms; planning survivability assessments and exploratory studies.
• Coordinating with Government/Contractor PMs, prime contractors, and external stakeholders to identify and solve missile defense challenges.
• Presenting complex technical information and analysis to diverse audiences.
